Willie Nelson has released a new album covering music by George Harrison and Hank Williams.
His legendary father, Merle, played bass on George Harrison’s 1970 version of the old drinking song The Thrill Is Gone and passed away from cancer in 2011.
Willie Nelson & Family will feature George Harrison’s medley of That’s All Right and It Don’t Come Easy, as well as Love Is Strange’s Talking Head.
Willie Nelson also worked with the late icon on the album.

George Harrison’s posthumous star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2009.
Willie Nelson & Family was recorded in Nashville in 2016 and features Nelson and his family singing the artist’s songs together.
