I Don’t Want Nancy Pelosi to Tell the Truth

Calmes: Nancy Pelosi, the GOAT, can’t fight back | Paul Ryan’s America

The battle is over. It’s over. We lost. We’re screwed. And we don’t know why.

I understand the need and the responsibility to fight back. And I understand why people do it. I understand it’s patriotic to fight back against a president who has engaged in unprecedented levels of deception.

To my shame, I didn’t.

I didn’t fight back. I let Pelosi slide from being the first minority, first woman Democratic leader I ever voted for, to being a weak, whiny victim. I let her slide so easy I’m shocked I’m still standing today.

Pelosi has always been the most powerful person in Washington. She was the first Speaker of the House. She was the leader. She was the most powerful.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is where we are.

We’ve been taken for a ride. We’ve been played. To this day Nancy Pelosi refuses to tell the truth.

We were on a historic journey. We fought to rebuild this country. We passed the Affordable Care Act. We passed the Dodd-Frank Act. We passed the Paycheck Protection Act. We passed several tax cuts. We passed comprehensive trade agreements like the Trans Pacific Partnership. We passed a balanced budget amendment. We passed several initiatives to combat climate change. We passed a resolution to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. We passed a resolution to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the state of Israel. We passed a historic vote in the House of Representatives to recognize a Palestinian nation and to support a fair and just two-state solution. We passed a resolution recognizing that there is no military solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. We passed the Peace to Prosperity Act. We passed the American Jobs Security Act. We passed the First Step Act. We passed the Veterans Jobs Protection Act. We passed the No Child Left Behind Act. We passed the American Innovation Act. We passed the Affordable Health Choices Act.

We passed the Trade In America Act. We passed the Fair Minimum Wage Act. We passed the Lilly Ledbetter
