Italy's romantic Tordesillas Bay goes 'wild'

When you travel you should plan to return to your home with little baggage.

In this case, that luggage might be as handy as a towel and a well-worn pair of denim dungarees because you’ll want to avoid, or at least minimize, the damage done to Tordesillas Bay in Spain’s Costa Brava.

In recent months the formerly pure sand have been marred by a rash of unplanned sex romps on one of Europe’s most romantic beaches.

According to Efe , numerous couples have been breaking into flagrant displays of public smooching in the middle of the sand.

The site says that beach cleaners have tackled randy surfers, but that unrulier romps have become more frequent, “especially in the evenings when there is less chance of surf and wave breaks.”

“The public toilets do not work, but we have found a few interesting duels among soldiers,” reports Efe.

Tordesillas Bay is the second most visited beach in Spain after Torremolinos, with nearly 250,000 foreign visitors in 2017.
