Serena Williams gave birth to a baby boy on September 1.
The US tennis legend brought on the honor of publicly announcing the name of her baby boy as well as sharing the long process that led up to his birth.
The father, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, introduced their baby during an appearance on NBC’s “Dateline.”
Serena Williams said she believes she and Ohanian experienced what some doctors refer to as postpartum depression, after having to stop playing tennis for six months due to giving birth to a baby girl
In a recent interview, Serena Williams said she herself — following the birth of her baby son, who was named Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr — experienced a postpartum depression, which she attributes to her not being vaccinated as a child
Now, she says, she is back on the court.
While she didn’t mention the date, tennis fans were quick to tweet when she pulled up to the Australian Open ball boy earlier this month wearing one of the new sportswear Adidas has given her to wear this year.
